MSFOMA is working on the renewal of the Menai Strait Oyster and Mussel Fishery Order 1962. This Fishery Order provides the legal foundations for mussel farming in the eastern Menai Strait, which is the most important aquaculture site in Wales, and the biggest shellfish farming area in the UK.
