Eastern Menai Strait – Consultation on new Fishery Order after Easter

Shortly after Easter we will be publishing a new “Draft Order” for the eastern Menai Strait.  This Order will replace the existing one that was made in 1962 and which is due to expire at the end of March 2022.

The public consultation on the new Fishery Order will run for a month, ending in early May.

Right now we are working to put all of the arrangements in place for this consultation.  We will be publishing notices in the Daily Post, Western Mail, and Fishing News and also sending out information by e-mail and post to interested parties next week.

We are very keen to ensure that everyone with an interest in the area gets a chance to find out about the proposed new Fishery Order and to participate in the consultation.

Don’t miss the boat!  You can add your contact details to our mailing list here.  Please let any friends and colleagues who are interested in the area know about this as well.

If you have any queries, please drop us a line by e-mail.
